Part of the reason for Dalaman's great success is the fact that its beaches are so good! There are many to choose from each with their own set of unique benefits. Below we guide you through all of the key beaches in preparation for your Dalaman holiday!
Sarigerme beach – With a vast expanse of 4 miles of fine white sand this impressive, rangy beach, is a delight to behold. Being a private beach, there is a nominal charge for entry, but we thoroughly recommend if you are looking for a day out away from the main resort. The shallow seas are perfect for young children and there are plenty of water-sports and facilities to keep everyone entertained and happy.
Gocek – For something a little different, head to the affluent beach town of Gocek. Take a day out to explore the expensive boats and yachts in the exclusive marina and head to the unspoilt beaches for sunbathing and mingling with the well-off natives. You can also hop on-board one of the 12-island cruise tours for stop-offs around the nearby archipelago for even more beach exploration.
Dalaman beach – The main beach is surprisingly unspoilt for such a large resort. Just ten minutes from the resort hub, this beach is perfect for relaxation and there are plenty of sun beds for hire at reasonable rates. Being the main resort beach, you will never be far away from Dalaman's excellent amenities and.
Iztuzu beach – An acclaimed beach that has been heralded as one on the finest in the Med! This superb beach should be on your Dalaman holiday itinerary by default. It's just thirty minutes from Dalaman and is possibly the best on this list for swimming with its azzure blue, shallow waters and sand bar that separates two bodies of water. The beach also attracts endangered Loggerhead turtles, bringing in turtle spotters between the months of May and October.
